Take part in an immersive hands-on media literacy program that weaves together theory, media literacy practice, critical deconstructions, and a structured plan for effective classroom implementation.
We begin with focused attention exploring each participant’s compelling purpose to teach and the larger motivations for incorporating media literacy into instruction.
Our unique approach is then clearly outlined through Media Literacy Pillars, which have been designed to translate concepts into cohesive approaches that are easy to apply. To make sure the trainings are useful, everyone will receive support with creating a Media Action Plan to apply newfound learnings and ideas to an upcoming unit.
