FOUNDATIONS OF MEDIA LITERACY

This course aims to provide you a pedagogical framework for helping you analyze, interpret and evaluate a variety of media texts. It's an interactive asynchronous course providing a foundation with space to practice. This course is a 3-5 hour adventure! 

FOR ANY MIDDLE SCHOOL & OLDER LEARNER

MEDIA MAKNG IN THE CLASSROOM

This course applies tools for collaboration in teaching and for student learning. Teachers strengthen their digital literacy in video, audio, graphics, and planning for integrating into classroom content.  Participants master with one tool per module to strengthen their media-making skills to use for student-assigned projects.

INTEGRATING MEDIA IN THE CURRICULUM

Educators will plan for comprehensive integration of media into a unit aligned to standards. Topics explored are instructing with media, teaching about media, student learning and assessing projects. This course should follow courses or workshops in reading and creating media.
